Private alpha · Windows

Every POV.
One timeline.

Review a match with every player's recording side by side, synced to the millisecond by the game's own sound. Spend the review on the play, not on lining up videos.

  • Synced in about two seconds
  • Notes your whole team sees
  • Your videos never leave your PC

The sync

Ten minutes of lining up videos. Now two seconds.

Every player starts recording at a different moment. Voddy listens to each recording, finds the sounds they all share (the shots, the abilities, the announcer) and lines them up, however loud each player's comms are.

  • Recordings minutes apart? Still lined up.
  • A PC whose clock drifts? Still in sync in the last round.
  • A YouTube or Twitch VOD? Paste the link: it streams and syncs too.

What it does

Built for the way teams actually review.

Watch everyone at once

Up to ten POVs, in a grid, one big with the rest beside it, or two side by side to see a duel from both ends.

  • Step frame by frame, jump round to round
  • Loop a fight, hear just one player
  • Zoom into any part of the picture

Say exactly what you mean

Pause on a moment and note it, about one player or the whole team. Draw right on their screen.

  • Labels: Mistake, Good play, Comms, Utility…
  • Notes on the timeline and as captions
  • Clip a moment, export the notes

Files or links

Drop in recordings from your PC, or paste a YouTube or Twitch link: it streams in seconds and syncs with the rest.

  • Plays on your graphics card: ten 1080p POVs, smooth
  • Reviews save as small projects you can reopen
  • Updates itself, in one click

Teams Coming soon

Your whole team, in step.

No more collecting recordings in DMs. Everyone adds their own VOD after each game, and the review is ready when you are.

  1. Share one invite link. Players sign in with Discord and they're in.
  2. Players add their VOD after each game, from the app or the browser. Games group themselves: same day, same title.
  3. Review a game in one click, with every POV, each named after its player.
  4. Notes go to the whole team as you write them. Players read them on the website, beside the video.

How a review goes

From five recordings to a plan.

  1. 1

    Add every POV

Drop in each player's recording, or paste their stream link.

  2. 2

    Press Sync

Every POV lines up, in a couple of seconds.

  3. 3

    Watch and note

Pause on a moment, note it, draw on it.

  4. 4

    Share it

Save the review, send the notes or a clip.

Questions

Good to know

Which games does it work with?

Any game you can record. Sync works from the game's sound, so it doesn't need anything from the game itself. Tactical shooters (Valorant, Counter-Strike, Overwatch…) are what it's built around.

Do my videos get uploaded anywhere?

No. Recordings stay on your PC, and links stream straight from YouTube or Twitch. Only your licence, and your team's notes once teams are out, go through our server.

What do I need to run it?

A Windows 10 or 11 PC. It plays on your graphics card where it can, so ten 1080p POVs play smoothly on an ordinary gaming PC.

How do I get in?

Voddy is in a private alpha. If you were invited, sign in below with Discord or your licence key. If not, ask on the Far Beyond Discord.

Who makes it?

Far Beyond, an independent studio that also makes Stars Beyond and the open-source Horizon game server.
